On the 15 th , a rule nisi was granted for a new trial in the case of Ling v . Croker , for crirn . con . ; * On the 16 th was tried the case of Curlewis v . the Earl of Mornington , which resulted in a verdict for the defendant , to the extent of £ 2 , 399 . 14 s ., for clothes supplied to the deceased son of the noble defendant .
