The house is * about to be rebuilt . —— -The first flower show of the season was held at ' the Crystal Palace on Saturday . It was most excellent , and was brilliantly attended , upwards of 12 , 000 people being present . On Monday there were some holiday amusements of no great merit , but nearly 30 , 000 persons
attended .- —For Whitsuntide , Cremorne and the Surrey Gardens put forth bills of fare peculiarly suited to the occasion ; and for those suburbanly disposed the Hoyal Pavilion Gardens , at North Woolwich , and Kosherville , offered to the seekers of fresh air beyond the bills of mortality all the enjoyment that the most varied entertainments could furnish ; but , unfortunately , the weather was most unpropitious , being wet and cold .
