BRO . G . F . GRIMES , P . M . On the 16 th instant , at his residence , High Street , Whitechapel , after a brief illness , in his 41 st year , Bro . George Frayling Grimes , P . M . of the Eastern Star Lodge , No . 112 . Bro . Grimes , after ably filling different offices , was elected W . M . in 1855 , and his conduct gave such satisfaction , that the Brethren unanimously chose him in 1857 to again preside over the Lodge . His loss wilt be deeply felt , not only by the members of the fraternity to whom he was known , but also by a , large circle of friends .
MRS . ELIZABETH SPIERS . We regret to announce the death of Mrs . Spiers , the wife of Bro . Rich . J as . Spiers , Alderman of Oxford , Prov . D . G . M . for Oxfordshire , and P . G . S . B ., which event took place suddenly on the evening of Friday last . Mrs . Spiers , who leaves a large family to lament her loss , was only 40 years of age .
