AV ., pointed out the great benefits that he considered would accrue to the Craft from the proposed alterations , and after some discussion , in which the Brethren were unanimous as to the desirability of Masons' Lodges being held apart from tavernsthe following

, resolution was adopted : — " That it is the opinion of the Brethren that the views expressed by the Board of General Purposes are entirely in accordance with Masonic principles , and are entitled to receive the general support of this Lodge ; also that it is desirable that such part of the premises as may be necessary should be exclusively devoted to Masonic purposes .
