pro-, posed , as well as two candidates for initiation . The question of the propriety of removing the Lodge to the Rampant Horse Inn , St . Stephen ' s ( due ancl proper notice having been given to that eifect ) , in consequence of the greatly increasing number of members , together with the probability of a change of the occupier of the Lamb Inn , was discussed ; when , after mature deliberation , the proposition for removal was unanimously carried . The AV . JI . adverted to his having been recently called to Leicester on business , when ascertaining that the John of G aunt Lodge , No .
766 , would hold its meeting during his stay , he determined to attend ; and he took the present opportunity to mention the very marked and kind reception ho experienced from the W . JI . and all the members of that Lodge . He expressed a hope that the day was not far distant when an occasion ivould present itself that would enable him to shew to any brother from Leicester , visiting this Lodge , how highly the Officers and members of it appreciate the generous aud cordial reception given to their AVorshipful JIaster . On the suggestion of the AV . JI . the Lodge agreed to subscribe forthe Freemasons' Mar / asine .
