" Of this discourse , ivhich ivas listened to ivith the most profound attention , it is merely necessary to say that it . AA'as beautifully eloquent and impressive , and many ivere sensibly moA'cd by the solemn , clear , and earnest manner displayed b } r our reverend brother . At the close of the service , a collection ivas made in in aid of a local charity . After the benedictionthe Brethren left the church

, , and forming in the same order of procession , Avalked back to the Forbes Hotel , the band playing several enlivening airs . By this time the imposing appearance of the Brethren had drawn together a large number of the toAvnsfolk and country people , AA-IIO attended them to the hotel . The Prov . Grand Lodge then returned to their Lodge room , Avhere the Lodge ivas closed Avith due solemnity .

occupied by Bro . I . Clark , the Senior Warden ofthe HCAV Lodge , supported on either side by Bros . Aldermen Murphey and Sutherland ; Bro . J . A . MattheAvs , Prov . G . Sec . ; Bro .
