Messent , the late S . A \ ., as JIaster for tho next tiA-elvo months . The IIOAV Master apnointed his officers as folloivs : —Bros . F . G . Aubiu , S . W . ; AV . Aubin , J . AV . ; AV . H . ~ AVarr , S . D . ; Sargent , J . D . ; and Owen , I . G , The Treas . and See ., Bros . Scarborough and AA'est , Avere re-invested by the AA . M ., and Bro . Potter , an old P . M ., kindly consented to continue Director of Ceremonies .

AA'Enr . iNOTON LODGE ( NO . $ 05 ) . —The monthly meeting of this Lodge was held on Tuesday , Feb . Sth , at the Lord Duncan , Broadti'ay , Deptford . Bro . AA adeson , AV . M ., presided , supported by Bros . Ouclen , S . AA . ; AVelsford , , T . AA ., and the other officers . The first business of the evening was the passing of Bro . Harding- to the second degree , AA'hich ceremony AVas ably performed by the AV . M ., after AA'hich , Mr . Rarity AA'as duly initiated into the mysteries of Freemasonry . The Lodge ivas then closed and the Brethren adjourned to banquet . The AV . M . gave the usual loyal and Alasonic toastsafter AvhichBro . BayleyP . M . in appropriate terms we " The

, , , , g , health of tho AV . M ., " ivhich ivas drunk AA'ith great cordiality . The AV . M . acknowledged the compliment , and said he hoped hy attention to his duties to advance the interests of the Lodge , and see it in a state of great prosperity . He concluded by proposing " The health of the ofiicers ofthe Lodge , " and thanks to them for the very efficient manner in AA'hich they had performed their duties . Bro . Oudcu returned thanks , and some other toasts having- been given and responded to , the Brethren adjourned at an early hour .

CANON - BURY LODGE ( No . 955 ) . —The above Lodgo held its meeting on Thursday , Feb . 10 th , at the Canonbury Tavern , the AV . M ., Bro . Hill , presiding , ivho initiated two gentlemen into the Order , in a most efficient manner . The AA . AL resigned the chair to the much respected Bro . Savage , for the purpose of performing the ceremony of installation . Bro . Filer then presented Bro . Cox ( ilf . P . for Finsbury ) to receive the benefit of installation , which ceremony AA ' . IS most ably performed by Bro . Savage , in tho presence of tivelve installed Masters . The Brethren being

again admitted , the AA . M . invested his officers for the ensuing year as folloivs --Bros . Bnsou , S . AV . ; Cox , J . AV . ; Willis , S . D . ; AVarrener , J . D . ; Foulkes , I . G . ; Filer , P . M ., Treas . ; Eohn , P . M ., Sec .: Gillesby , SteAvard . It ivas moved and seconded , that a jeiA'el of not less value than £ 5 5 s . be presented to Bvo , Hill , P . M ., for the very excellent manner ho had discharged the duties of AA . M . through the past year . A vote of £ 5 to the Boys School AA'as also carried . The business being ended the Brethren retired to banquet , at which nearly fifty Brethren assisted .
