Johnstone having been elected Treasurer , and Bro . Cheadle , Tyler , were also invested according to ancient custom .
Two gentlemen ivere then suceesively introduced and initiated into the mysteries of the ancient ancl honourable fraternity . The lodge was then called from labour to refreshment , and the brethren , mustering nearly forty , proceeded to the banquetting room where a most magnificent and recherche entertainment awaited them . 's jewel , bearing a suitable inscription , stating that it was presented as a token of regard and respect to their first AV . M . , finding that their removal from the hotels has diminished their comfort in respect of the agremens ol conviviality , they have been considerably better off ancl better attended to . AVe have heard but one opinion expressed with reference to the banquets of Lodges 110 and 258 , that they could nofc have been better at the very best hotel .
