THE CASE OP THE REV . DR . ACE . THE REV . DANIEL ACE , D . D ., the Vicar of Langhton , in Lincoln , strive , is under tho necessity of making an appeal to enable him to defray tlio expenses incurred for the Restoration of tlie Tower of the Pariah Church ol Laughton , for which Dr . Ace , who is the Vicar of the Parish , has been held personally liable . The circumstances under which Dr . Ace fools compelled to make this appeal are detailed in a letter which appears on page of this issue , and he feels confident Hint , ns si Clergyman of the Church of England , he will not be abandoned in Ids hour of need .
