EARL OF SUSSEX LODGE , No . 2201 . THE annual installation meeting was held at the Royal Pavilion , ou Saturday , 25 th nit . The Lodge was opened by the W . M . Bro . Richard Clowes P . P . G . W ., who was supported by his Officers and member * of the Lodge . Tho Lodge having been formally opened tho W . M . said the time had come for him to vacate the chair , but , before doing so , he wished to thank all his Officers for what they had

done for bim during his most pleasant year of office . Every one had been most kind ; they had vied with eaoh other in trying to make his Mastership a year of happiness , and had doue so most successfully . He felt bound to give a speoial meed of tbauks to hia Secretary , whose kindness and many exertions on his bohalf he shonld ever remomber , and he trusted that rhw succeeding VV . M . ' s might have his

co-operation and assistance ( always given with pleasure ) for many years to come . He ( Bro . Clowes ) hoped he might be spared to welcome all his Officers as W . M . ' s of tho Earl of Snssex Lodge iu tho years to come , and he would endeavour to make their year of office as happy as they made his . The V . W . Bro . Rev . E . R . Currie .
