Provincial Grand Mark Lodge Of Cheshire And North Wales.

PROVINCIAL GRAND MARK LODGE OF CHESHIRE AND NORTH WALES .

THE annual Prov . Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of tho United Province of Cheshire and Wales was held on Friday , tho 18 th nit ., at Llandudno , under tho warrant of St . David ' s Lodge , 38 . The Prov . Grand Lodge was opened in form by the R . W . Prov . G . M ., and when the roll was called it was found that every Lodge in the Province was represented . Tho Secretary read tho minutes of the last Prov . Grand Lodgo held at Birkenhead , which were duly confirmed .

A grant was made of fourteen guineas each to the Cheshire and North Wales and Shropshire Masonic Educational Institutions . The R . W . P . G . M . M ., to whose earnest and unflagging zeal tho Province owed so much of its prosperity . Tho generous and fraternal spirit in which ho had spoken in Prov . Grand Lodge that clay as to tho proposal that the Province should be divided by separating North Wales from Cheshire proved how entirely

ho was guided by his care and anxiety for tho good of Mark Masonry , even to the yielding np of a portion of the Province over which he ruled so well , and so entirely to the satisfaction of the brethren , if , by so doing , the welfare of both was likely to be promoted .
