W ., Dickins See ., White S . D ., Sandlo J . D ., Gowor I . G . Past Master Bro . Bingemann Preceptor ; Bros . Tate , Brown , Dodson , Cornn , Gilruth , Sanders , Tranter , Suodin , and others .

Tho ceremony of initiation was rehearsed , Bro . Gardner being the candidate . The first , fourth , ancl part of the third sections wero worked . The bye laws , as revised , wore read and confirmed . Bro . Gardner was elected a member . Bro . T . B . Dodson was elected W . M . for tho ensuing week , and will work tho ceremony of Installation . The Lodgo was then closed in perfect harmony .

Rodmell 1218 , and H . M . Levy P . M . 188 . Tho Lodge was opened , and the minutes were confirmed . Bros . Bryant and Baldwin were passed to tho second degreo in a very impressive manner . The petition of tho widow of a brother of tho Lodge was accredited to the Grand Lodge of Benevolence . The Lodge was then closed , and the brethren sat down to a very excellent banquet provided by Bro . F . Clemow .

Tho W . M . proposed tho usual Loyal and Masonic toasts , Bros . Millward and Millard singing the solo verses of tho National Anthem . Bro . Itosser sang a very c-xcelloni song . The W . M . proposed the toast of the Visitors , and Bros . Mullord , Ilodwell and II . M . Levy replied . Bro . Kew P . M . proposed the health of the W . M ., whoso working had been fully recognised in Froemasonry . No member of the Lodge but

would say that they wero r -end of having such a W . M . Ho not only knew his duties in the cho ' r , but also presided over the brethren in a genial manner . Denham , pursuant to notice , moved as to the disposal of the funds now in hand . He suggested that a portion should bo

spent in giving Bro . J . G . Carter some token for tho benefit he hacl conferred in the brethren as Preceptor , and tha ; a banquet , to celebrate the occasion , should be held . Bro . Carter , with Incoming modesty , djclined to accept a testimonial paid out of fie funds , as ho thought tli- ; y should bo devoted to tho Charities . Rrn . W . A . Morgan hinted thai the better course would be for the brethren to subscribe ,

and this wis agreed to . Bro . P . V . Denham proposed , Bro . A . A . Denham seconded , and it was carried , "That a banquet bo held of the membc . 's at a convenient date . " It was resolved , npon a motion by Bro . J . J . Holland , seconded by Bro . C . Digby , that the Lodge adjourn fro n the last Tuesday in April to the first Tuesday iu September .

Besley 855 . Bro . R . N . Hooper was

passed to the second degree . Bro . T . G . Seymour was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason . The following resolution was carried unanimously : — " That each AV . M . on taking office shall subscribe to the Tyudall Benevolent Fund the sum of £ 1 Is ; AVardens , 10 s Gd each ; Secretary and Treasurer , Deacons and Inner Guard ,

7 s 6 'd each . " Brother Grossman AV . Master then presented a I'ast Master ' s jewel to tho I . P . M . Brother James Payne Curtis , in recognition of his valuable services during his year of office . This was suitably acknowledged . Dallas worked the first , second and third sections of the lecture , assisted by tho brethren . Bro . Lovelock was elected W . M . for next Tuesday .

"Wandsworth Lodge of Instruction , No . 1044 . — A meeting was hold at the Spread Eagle Hotol , on Tuesday last . Bro . W . A . Blackmoro was the W . M ., and there were also present Bros . J . M . of the Doric Lodge ) , who went through tho ceremony of raising Bro . Hunt , which was done in a perfect manner . Bro . P . V . Denham , pursuant to notice , moved as to the disposal of the funds now in hand . He suggested that a portion should bo

spent in giving Bro . J . G . Carter some token for tho benefit he hacl conferred in the brethren as Preceptor , and tha ; a banquet , to celebrate the occasion , should be held . Bro . Carter , with Incoming modesty , djclined to accept a testimonial paid out of fie funds , as ho thought tli- ; y should bo devoted to tho Charities . Rrn . W . A . " It was resolved , npon a motion by Bro . J . J . Holland , seconded by Bro . C . Digby , that the Lodge adjourn fro n the last Tuesday in April to the first Tuesday iu September .

proposed by Bro . Musto , and seconded by Bro . Worsley , that Bro . Pavitt bo elected Treasurer—this was unanimously carried . Bros . Worsley , Smith , and Watkins were then elected as a Committee to revise the bye-laws of this Lodge of Instruction . It was proposed by Bro . Musto , and seconded by Bro . J . AV ., that Bro . S . W . bo W . M . for tho ensuing week , aud this was carried unanimously . Nothing further being offerod for the good of Freemasonry , the Lodge was adjourned until Tuesday next .

Tynda'J Lodge , No . 1363 . —A meeting was held on Wednesday , the 2 nd April , at the Lodgo Room , Chipping Sodbury . Present—Bros . E . Grossman AV . M ., AVm . Tucker S . AV ., J . P . passed to the second degree . Bro . T . G . Seymour was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason . The following resolution was carried unanimously : — " That each AV . M . on taking office shall subscribe to the Tyudall Benevolent Fund the sum of £ 1 Is ; AVardens , 10 s Gd each ; Secretary and Treasurer , Deacons and Inner Guard ,

7 s 6 'd each . " Brother Grossman AV . Master then presented a I'ast Master ' s jewel to tho I . P . M . Brother James Payne Curtis , in recognition of his valuable services during his year of office . This was suitably acknowledged . A resolution was passed to invite tho neighbouring Lodge , No . 855 , to visit tho Tyndall at its next regular night of meeting in May . The Lodgo waa then closed at 0 . 20 .
