On Sunday , 2-ltli March 1 S 78 . this magnificent vessel , the Eurydiee , one of the finest sailing frigates in the British ! Navy , after rounding Dunnose headland , near Shanklin , in the Isle of Wi ght , on her return from tho West Indies , was turned over b y the force of tha elements , after which she sank . Sho had 5300 seamen on board , of whom only two survived ,
