Taylor having consented to aot as candidate , the ceremony of raising was rehearsed by Brother Parker , he being assisted by Brother Hebden ,
the latter rendering the traditional history by special request . Brother Parker is a painstaking Mason , who enters upon bis work with sincerity , and it was only just , perhaps , that io should be reserved for a pioneer like Brother Hebdon to put tbe crowning point upon his admirable structure by an effort of elocution which left nothing to be desired . Bros . Lingard and Hepworth were equally
successful as assistant Officers , and contributed in no little degree towards making tbe ceremony an interesting one . We have to record two more propositions , the names of the brethren who desire fco join being Bros . Thomas Arthur Jones 152 , and John Townley . Trotter 1459 , who will probably be balloted for at the forthcoming meeting to be held on Thursday next . On that occasion fche ceremonies for rehearsal will be an initiation and a passing .
