M . 228 took the chair , and rehearsed the ceremony
of installation , in a manner that met with the warmest approval . A vote of thanks and honorary momborship of the Lodge were offered to , and accepted by Bro . Halford , who expressed his thanks in an earnest and eloquent speech . Some sections of the first lectnro were worked . Bro . Woolley , of the Wanderers' Lodge , was elected a member . Bro . Brasted will preside at the next meeting .
York Lodge , No . 236 . —There was a very Jai'ge attendance at the meeting of this Lodge on Mondav last , when the election of Master took place . Bro . W . Valentine W . M . presided , supported by all his Officers , and a nnmber of visitors . The unanimons vote of the
Lodge fell on the J . W . Bro . A . Buckle , and Bro . J . Todd P . M . was nnanimously re-elected to the office of Treasnrer . Bro . Rndfare was reappointed Tyler .
