Humphreys 1509 , was elected a member , and Bro . Greenwood to occupy the ohair at next meeting . A vote of thanks was unanimously passed to Bro . Kidder for the excellent conduct of the business . Lodge was then closed and adjourned .

was opened in nsual form , and the W . M . rehearsed the ceremony of initiation , Bro . D . Moss acting as candidate . Bro . J . Da Silva worked the first section of the lecture , assisted by tho brethren . Bro . Myers having satisfactorily answered the nsual questions leading to the second degree , was entrusted . The Lodge was opened

in the second degree , and the W . M . worked the ceremony of passing , Bro . Myers acting as candidate . The Lodge was closed down to the first degree . Bro . Da Silva worked the second section of the first lecture , assisted by the brethren . Bro . Da Silva was unanimously elected W . M . for the ensuing week . All business being ended , the Lodge was closed in perfect harmony .

Tyler . The Lodge was opened , and minntes of the last meeting were read and confirmed . Bro . Macdonald was passed to the degree of F . C , the ceremony being very perfectly worked by the Master . The ballot was now taken for two gentlemen , and it proved unanimous in their favour . The Lodge was then closed , and the brethren adjourned to refreshment , where the usual Loyal and Masonic toasts , as also several complimentary ones , were duly given

and responded to . Some capital harmony and a magnificent recitation , kindly given by Bro . Charles Harrington , the manager of the Tyne Theatre , enlivened the evening .
