in thanking the Chairman for the flattering terms in which he had proposed the toast , and the brethren for the manner in whioh they bad received it , said he could hardly find words to adequately reply to the toast ; he had done all that lay in his power to assist in founding the Lodge of Instruction , and was glad to see that it waa

a success ; he should always be ready to lend a hand to further the interests of the Craft in general , and their Lodge in particular . Some excellent songs were rendered during the evening , and the proceedings terminated with the Tyler ' s toast . The brethren separated with the satisfaction of haviug spent a most enjoyable evening .
