THE annual meeting of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons was held at the Masonio Rooms , Chester , on Monday , under the banner of the Earl of Chester Lodgo , No . 196 . Bro . the Hon . Wilbraham E / Jrerton , M . P ., Prov . Grand Mark Master presided , and to support him there were was a larsre and influential gathering from this and the iidjoining Provinces of North Wales and the County Palatine , the following Provincial Grand Officers being

Bro . Lord Brabourne presided on Thursday evening , at the Twenty-eighth Anniversary Pestival of the Royal Hospital for Incurables , held at the Albion Tavern , Aldersgate-street . During the evening subscriptions and donawere announced to the extent of £ 3 , 232 .
On Saturday last the Prince of Wales was elected Commodore of the Royal Yacht Squadron as successor to the late Earl of Wilton , the Marquis of Londonderry , Prov . Grand Master Durham , retaining his position as
Vice-Commodore . On the motion of His Royal Highness , duly seconded , and unanimously carried , the King of Sweden and Norway was elected an honorary member . There was a very large attendance at the meeting , which was held at Willis ' s Rooms , St . James ' s .
