M ., had discharged his duties with tho same ability and courtesy that had marked his conduct in the other offices be had occupied since his connection with Prudence Lodge . The

M ., in responding , said ho unfortunately lived some fifty miles from Plymouth , but he did not allow this to prevent him from attend , ing the meetings of the Lodge whenever there was any work to be done . He took a great interest in Freemasonry , and would spare no effort to do what he conld to promote the interests and welfare of the
Lodge . The toast of the I . P . M . and Past Masters of the Lodge was proposed by the W . M ., arid acknowledged by Bro . A . Goodman / . P . M . Bro . Lord proposed the Treasurer and tho Secretary , remarking that tho duties connected with these offices were of a very onerous and raspoiu-ible character , bnt Bro .
