M . rehearsed the ceremony of the second degree , Bro . Pennell candidate . Bro . Hogarth then vacated the

chair , and Bro . John Green W . M . 27 took the position of W . M ., and in a very impressive manner rehearsed the ceremony of installation . Bro . Atkins P . M . acting as W . M . elect . All Masonic business being ended , the Lodge was closed in ancient from . Bro . Green will work the ceremony of installation in the Prosperity Lodge of Instruction , which is held in the same house , on Tuesday evening next , the 30 th instant . The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed . The Lodge was advanced to the second degree . The usual questions were answered . The Lodge was opened in the third degree , and Bro . Dart was duly raised . Tho Lodge was closed in the third , and resumed to the first . Bro . Haller answered the questions , was

entrusted , and afterwards passed . Bro . Lees , of the Emblematic Lodge , No . 1321 , was elected a member , he was also appointed to the chair for the ensuing week . Brethren will notice that this Lod" -e of Instruction gives every facility to those brethren who hold office in their mother Lodges .
