the mysteries of Isis ; and it was only when he was forced to seek truth through the perils they opposed to his progress towards LIGHT , with constancy undismayed and fortitude unshaken , that the Great Portals of the Sublime Craft oped their ponderous jaws to admit him to his first glimpse of the Great Deity he was seeking .
