Depute-Master , has paid to the interest of the lodge , resolved to give him some

Paterson , the R . W . Depute-Master , in a neat and suitable speech , in the name of the brethren , presented Bro . Mitchell with an elegant silver snuff-box , and a dozen of silver spoons . Bro . Mitchell replied in an eloquent and appropriate speech . Bro . Mitchell ' s health was then drunk in true masonic style ; and many other masonic and other appropriate toasts were volunteered in rapid succession , and the evening was spent with the greatest harmony and conviviality .
