Brother Eliot , cordially seconded the motion , which was carried by acclamation . The P . G . AI . rose and saicl he had now to propose the health of a distinguished Brother , who was the son of an intimate friend of the late illustrious Grand Alaster of England , the Duke of Sussex . He said he hacl been appointed to a Province in which the flame of Masonry was almost extinct , but which coulcl now vie with any .
