( Staffordshire ) , will accept our grateful acknowledgments for the kindly spirit in which he has addressed us -, we feel confident of his eo-operation .
AN ENCUIRER . —The time is not fixed for the trial of " MASONIC SKIM ,. " Either Lodge can boast of some excellent workmen , and the umpire ' s decision , we hope , will be an ample justification to botli parties . " An Enquirer" is altogether incorrect in the view he takes ; —the match will come off well . EXAMINER . —A gold medal was voted to the Rev . Dr . Barry , in Grand Lodge , on the 7 th Sept ., 180 S , with a vote of thanks , as a mark of respect for his long and faithful services to the Craft .

Quii is pretty near the mark ; the semi-iunar arrangement on the platform is a decided improvement . ARGUS will perceive that in our " leading article" we have anticipated even his foresight ,
