The minutes of the last Quarterly Communication were read and confirmed . The minutes of the Special Grand Lodge held at Bradford , on the 22 nd September , 1851 , were read and confirmed .
f his being the usual period for nominating a G . II . for the ensuing year , the Right Hon . Thomas Dunclas , Earl of Zetland , Baron Dundas of Aske , in the county of York , Lord Lieutenant of the North Riding of Yorkshire , & c . & c , was put in nomination for that high office , the nomination being accompanied by every demonstration of respect , gratitude , and affection . The M . W . the Grand Master said he would mention that he
had received a communication from New York , but which he did not think necessary now to lay before the Grand Lodge . It was a communication from a Grand Lodge in New York , which had been constituted in opposition to that , which the Report of the Committee he had appointed , had declared to be the Grand Lodge of New York . He should have thought it right to lay this communication before the Grand Lodge , if he had received any communication from the party , which he believed to be de jure the Grand
