The favour of your Votes and Interest is earnestly solicited on behalf of ELIZABETH MARY LANGLEY , 71 years of age , residing- at 102 , Cowley Road , Brixton , widow of the late Bro . William Langley , who was for many years manager of the Queen's Hotel , Hastings , and afterwards in business at Canterbury . The late Bro . Langley was initiated in the Derwent Lodge , No . 40 , Hastings , on the 13 th March , 1865 , and was installed W . Master of the Lodge on the 13 th January , 1 S 73 . He continued a Subscribing Member until May , 1879 , when he was compelled to resign , owing to failing health and serious monetary losses . He was for two years M . E . Z . of the Chapter of Emulation , No . 40 , and was also a Mark Master Mason . He was a Life Governor of the Boys' School , besides having been a frequent Subscriber to the othcr Masonic Charities .
