A most pleasant and instructive evening was spent , 75 members in all being present , which is a record for this lodge . A most credible fact for the lodge is that 12 of the 15 working the Sections are members , and also proves the attention that is given to both lodge and members by that u'rand PreceptorBro . S .

, Whitaker , P . M . Among the workers , attention must be callrd to two young members , first Bro . E . W . T . Hoare , a Mason of iS months . He is Secretary of this lodge of instruction , and a more hard-working member the lodge cannot boast ; his heart is in his work , and we are sure he , with Bro . Whitaker , P . M ., must feel overjoyed at the

success of the 2 nd instant . The second is Bro . VV . W . Williams , a Mason of a little over 12 months , and the manner he did his Section was faultless , and a credit to Bro . S . Whitaker , P . M ., Preceptor . A vote of thanks to Bro . S . Whitaker , P . M ., and the Section workers having been accorded and responded to by Bros . Whitaker , Knight , and E . VV . T . Hoare , the lodge was closed .
