We regret to say that but little further progress has been made in strengthening the Board of Stewards for the approaching 92 nd Festival of the Royal Masonic Institution for Boys . When we first offered some remarks on this subject about a fortnight since , the

Board numbered 220 . Last week it reached 224 , and now it comprises 232 members , so that the result of a whole fortnight ' s attempt to increase the number is

seen in the addition of 12 Stewards , the majority of whom appear to belong to the provinces , so that the unusual weakness of London is still the prominent feature of the Board .

* * * This is hardly what we had looked for . We thought that when the Girls' School Festival was over , the live weeks' interval between the latter and the event we are now concerned about would have been turned to

We regret to say that but little further progress has been made in strengthening the Board of Stewards for the approaching 92 nd Festival of the Royal Masonic Institution for Boys . When we first offered some remarks on this subject about a fortnight since , the

Board numbered 220 . Last week it reached 224 , and now it comprises 232 members , so that the result of a whole fortnight ' s attempt to increase the number is

seen in the addition of 12 Stewards , the majority of whom appear to belong to the provinces , so that the unusual weakness of London is still the prominent feature of the Board .

* * * This is hardly what we had looked for . We thought that when the Girls' School Festival was over , the live weeks' interval between the latter and the event we are now concerned about would have been turned to
