Representatives were present from the Mlowihg Lodges : No . 80 , Star in the East f No . 126 , Industry and Perseverance with Humanity ; No . 715 , Saint John ' s ; and No . 740 , Kilwinning in the East . The Provw Grand Lodge having been opened in form , the minutes of the quarterly communication held on the 24 th June , 1858 , were read and confirmed . The Deputy Prov . Grand Master then expressed the regret felt by the Prov . Grand Master at his inability to attend the District Grand Lodge this evening , owing to indisposition .

Roberts withdrew the motion respecting contributions to the Fund of Benevolence , of which he had given notice at the last quarterly communication , as he did not consider the present time propitious for its consideration . The Deputy Prov . Grand Master announced that , since the last quarterly communication , the Prov . Grand Master had conferred the rank of Past Prov . Junior Grand Warden on the under-mentioned Brethren , on account of their past eminent services , and the high estimation in which they are held both by himself and the craft in this Province , viz ., V .
