The committee have also to report that they have investigated a complaint preferred against the Britannic Chapter , No . 33 , London , for having , on the 12 th July , 1867 , conferred the Royal Arch degree on a brother ivho AVAS raised to the Master Masons' degree on the 17 th December , 18 G 6 , such act being in -direct contravention of Art . 23 , p . 20 of the Regulations . The Principals of the Chapter haA'ing attended pursuant to
¦ summons and produced the charter ancl minute book , explained that the chapter had inadvertently fallen into error , believing that the date of the brother ' s initiation , ivhich occurred on 19 th March , 1866 , ivas the date of his raising . Tlie Principals expressed their regret at the unintentional infraction of a Grand ¦ Chapter that had been committed . The committee , finding that the act ivas unpremeditated , reprimanded the Principals , enjoining them to act Avithmore care and caution for tbe future .
