The jewel , which is a beautiful specimen of the goldsmith ' s art , bears a suitable inscription . Bro . Spry , in responding , said : he could not be but gratified
at the fresh mark of their esteem , and assured them that the jewel would be for ever prized b y him as a memorial of his ¦ connection with Lodge St . Anbyii . It was certainly most pleasing for him to look back and know that he , with some two -or three others , were the solo promoters of the lodge , and that by care ancl prudence they had one of the finest lodges in the AVest of England .
