The Lodge was opened to the second , degree , when Bro . Wynman answered the questions and was entrusted . The Lodge was opened in the third degree , and the ceremony of raising was rehearsed . Lodge was resumed to the second degree , and the ceremony of installation was rehearsed , Bro . Hunt being presented as W . M .-elect . The Lodge being formed the W . M . proceeded to examine Bro . H . Clark for the second degree . He was then entrusted , the Lodge was advanced , and the ceremony was rehearsed . The principal business of the evening was to arrange the time of future meeting , whether it should be 5 o'clock or 5 . 30 . The W . M . felt that 5 o ' clock would be more convenient , not alone for the members but also for their friends , and it was thereupon unanimously decided to hold the meetings on Mondays , at 5 punctually . Howard E . Mullins S . W . 211 , who rehearsed the third ceremony , for which Bro . Eccles acted as candidate . Bro . Groom acting Preceptor proposed that a hearty vote of thanks be recorded on the minutes for the very able manner in which the W . M . had rendered the ceremony of initiation for the first time in the Lodge . The W . M ., in returning thanks , said he hoped to do better on a future occasion .
