QUARTERLY COURT OF THE BOYS ' SCHOOL .

THE Quarterly General Court of the Governors and Subscribers of this Institution was held at Freemasons' Tavern , London , on Monday , the 13 th inst ., under the presidency of Bro . Roebuck ; for the transaction of the ordinary business of the Institution , and to consider the propositions of which notice had been given . The first of these , by W . Bro . Raynham W . Stewart P . G . D ., V . P . : —

"In law 38 , to insert , after the word 'Month , 'in line 2 , the words , ' September excepted . '" was carried ; as also was the second , by W . Bro . J . L .

Mather , V . P ., on behalf of the House Committee : — " That Three Boys bo Elected at the Quarterly General Court , on Monday , 13 th Octobor 183-1 , in addition to the twenty-seven boys as announced on the voting paper . "

This concluded the business to be transacted previous to the elections . The poll was opened , and thirty boys were elected ( a list of whom will be found in another part of this issue ) . The unsuccessful candidates , and the votes they will carry forward , were as follows : —
