Shaw Deputy Commander or Generalissimo , were appointed as representatives of the Encampment , to proceed to tho United States and take part in the expected Templar demonstration afc Philadelphia aud elsewhere at tho Centennial Celebrations .

Thistle and Rose Lodge , "Wo . 73 . —This Lodgo held its regular meeting on Tuesday , 18 th instant , at 170 Bnchatian-strcet , when Bro . Wheeler passed Bros . Reid and Mitchell to tho Fellow Craft degree , after which tho R . W . M . raised three brethren to tho sublimo degree , in a Tory careful manner .

Thistle Lodge , ' No . 87 . —This Lodge held a harmony meetincr on Tuesday , tho 18 th instant , which wis largely attended both b y members and visitors . The singing and reciting wore calculated to enhance the pleasure of any meeting , aud would have done no injustice to professionals .
