Our Weekly Budget.

OUR WEEKLY BUDGET .

THE Prince of Wales is now well on his way to India , and doubtless it will not be long ere we hear of his having arrived at Bombay . On quitting Athens , His Royal Highness made for Port Said , which was reached early on Saturday morning . He was here received by the Princes Tewfik , Hassan , and Toussoum , sons of the Viceroy ,

General Stanton , our agent and Consul general , and Captain Willoughby , agent for the Indian government . Thence he proceeded aboard the Osborne to IsmaiJia , preceded by the Egyptian Princes in the Scinde , and these received him on landing , and escorted him to the state

train in "waiting to convey him to Cairo . Here the Viceroy in person received his Royal Highness , and escorted him to Ghezireh Palace , which had been prepared for his reception . On Monday an Investiture of the Order of the Star of India was held , at which his Royal Highness , by

virtue of the powers conferred on him by Her Majesty invested the Prince Tcwfik , eldest son and heir of the Viceroy , with the Grand Cross of the Order . In the evening of the same day , the Royal and Viceregal party visited

the Pyramids , and dined there in state , the Great Pyramid being brilliantly illuminated in honour of the occasion . As our special commissioner telegraphs that he has mislaid his copy of the menu , we give the following as not unlikely to have been included in the bill of fare : —

Sours . —Clear Turtle . Oxtail A la Bull Apis . Mock Turtle a la Count Cagliostro . FISH . —Turbot , Ichneumon Sauce . Fillets of Soles el la Crocodile .

Red Mullets . Fried Eels . ENTREES . —Pelican Saute , sauce piquaute . Alligator Kidneys , Mummy sauce . Veal Cutlets 0 . la Pharoah Necho . Preserved Chariot Wheels .

RELEVES . —Boiled Dromedary Hump . Roast Ship of the Desert . Haunch of Jerusalem Pony . Roast Ibis . ENTREMETS . —Jelly & la Phoenix . Pudding & la Misraim . Creams

of other fruits , for which the Nile Valley is celebrated . Had time permitted , the distinguished party would not onty have inspected , but also indulged in a game of Pyramids . But a special representation at the opera had been ordered , and the Prince and Viceroy returned

accordingly to Cairo in order to assist at the performance . On Tuesday His Royal Highness left by train for Suez , and thence on board the Serapis , via the Red Sea and Aden , for

Bombay . Among the " fixtures " arranged at Bombay in honour of the Royal visit , must be mentioned a grand ball at Freemasons' Hall , Bombay . On Monday H . R . H . Prince Leopold took up his freedom
