IN our last number , we adverted to the subject of an asylum for the AGED MASON , and we promised to offer a plan for its erection and endowment , in conjunction with a school-house for boys . It was not , however , our intention to have brought forward this interesting subject at so early a period , but the school edifice of the sister-charity having sustained some serious dilapidation , we feel it to be an auspicious
moment to make an appeal for the general interests of our charitable institutions . It is a theme upon which we may well plead strongly ; and we feel a proud satisfaction in the assurance of being able to show good voi ,. r . j » P
