Secretary in the discharge of the duty of his office . " The minutes of the last general meeting and of the subsequent Committee meetings were confirmed . Brother Robert Field was unanimously elected Secretary . The Rev . Brother H . R . Slade was unanimously elected an Honorary Life Subscriber , in acknowled gment of his admirable discourse preached in December last , and a vote of thanks to him was recorded , a copy of which the Secretary was directed to forward forthwith .
