CARMARTHEN . —The usual festival of St . John the Evangelist svas celebrated b y the members of St . Peter ' s Lotlge , 69 . 9 . The Lodge svas opened at three o ' clock in the afternoon , svhen Bro . John Johnes ( Barrister , of Dolcoth y ) svas duly installed AVorshi pful Alaster for the current year . The Brethren dined together that evening .
PEMBROKE DOCK , Jan . 2—The Rev . G . F . Kelly has been elected Worshipful Alaster of the Loyal AVelsh Lodge . The installation and dinner took place at the Victoria Hotel . The Loyal AVelsh Lod ge , at their monthly meeting , voted the sum of tsvo guineas to the funds forming for the relief of tlie distressed Irish and Scotch .

The Lodge having been opened in due form , and certain preliminaries gone through , the Brethren repaired to a s ' preatl in the dming-room , where the chair svas filled by the AVorshi pful Master Lampen , and the vice-chair by the Senior " Warden Tyacke After dinner the usual Alasonic and loyal toasts drunkand the
svere , evening svas spent in trul y Alasonic order , the Brethren being much gratified by the music ancl glees performed b y Messrs . Forfar , Hen wood , and Ellis , who svere assisted by their organist , Air . James , on the harmonium organ of the Lod ge . Several excellent speeches svere delivered .
LISKEARD . —The Brethren of the Lotlge of St . Martin , No . 750 , lately established , met at the Fountain Inn , ancl celebrated the Festival of St . John . The business of the Lodge commenced at tsvo o ' clock , and being gone through , the members retired to tbe refreshment-room , svhere an excellent spread svas provided b y Air . Julyan . This svas the first annual celebration of this festival , and the evening svas spent most agreeably by those present . This Lodge , though lately opened , is increasing in numbers very fast .
TORQUAY , Feb . 18 . —A most interesting meeting took place on I hursday last , at Torquay , for the purpose of presenting Brother Dr . M'Egan svith an address on his leaving England for India , the doctor having recently been appointed to a regiment as a medical officer in that country . The address svas neatly written on vellum , and had the Lodge seal attached . The presentation svas offered by a Brother in a very impressive manner , and the doctor ' s reply , in acknowledgment , svas given in terms of much emotion and feeling , but svith all his customary eloquence .
EX . SIOUTII , Jan . . 5—The Brethren of the Sun Lodge , 123 , regaled themselves in the Lodge held at Brother Bastin ' s , Globe Hotel . Brother Augustus Moore presided . Bro .
