A recent announcement has ajijieared in a Dublin jiajier , that his Grace the Duke of Leinster , Grand Master of the Order in Ireland , has been jileased to signify his acceptance of the invitation of Lodge 12 ( of which the jiresent Master is his Grace ' s son , Lord Otho Fitzgerald ) to an entertainment on the 22 nd instant . It may be interesting to those who have attained the highest degrees of the Masonic scale to know that the meeting of the
illustrious College of Philosophical Masons was held on the 12 th of February last , when Bro . Godfrey Brereton , 33 rd degree , was installed into the Chair of that Order as the Illustrious Commander ; Sir Knt . George Rankin was at the same time installed as Senior AVarden , and Sir Knt . AVilliam Thomas Lloyd as Junior AVarden . - About fourteen Members of that high degree of Freemasonry were jiresent on the occasion , who afterwards jiartook of the banquet .
