Brother W . J . Hughan , of Torquay , was elected to honorary membership in the Masonic Veterans of Ohio at the meeting held in the City of Springfield on the 23 rd October , in appreciation of his literary labours in behalf of the Fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons throughout the globe . A similar honour was

conferred on Brother Hughan in 188 4 by the Masonic Veterans of Pennsylvania , and by the famous Organisation of Illinois in 1889 , the latter being well known amongst literary Masons through the advocacy and zeal of General John Corson Smith , Past Grand Master , who is the esteemed President .

Brother W . J . Hughan , of Torquay , was elected to honorary membership in the Masonic Veterans of Ohio at the meeting held in the City of Springfield on the 23 rd October , in appreciation of his literary labours in behalf of the Fraternity of Free and Accepted Masons throughout the globe . A similar honour was

conferred on Brother Hughan in 188 4 by the Masonic Veterans of Pennsylvania , and by the famous Organisation of Illinois in 1889 , the latter being well known amongst literary Masons through the advocacy and zeal of General John Corson Smith , Past Grand Master , who is the esteemed President .
