Macdougall , who had been approved of at a former meeting , and Bro . Mills , being in attendance , were introduced and advanced to tho Mark degree , Bro . Distin conducting the musical service with his customary ability . By a unanimous vote
of the Lodge , Bro . G . W . Verry was selected for recommendation to Grand Mark Lodgo for grand hononr , and that highly respected brother warmly expressed his gratification and thanks . The Prov . Grand Sec . called the attention of the Lodge to sundry matters relating to tho progress of the Province , and congratulated tho " Macclonald" on tho position it had maintained in respect thereto .
His remarks wero listened to with great attention , and he received the thanks of the members for his visit and address . Lodge was closed , and refreshment followed labour . All customary toasts wero honoured . Bros . The occasion was the annual festival of the White Rose of York Conclave , and invitations had been hospitably extended to the Sir Knights of tho

Unfortunately , another important Masonic engagement prevented tho De la Pole Sir Knights from attending in force , but a party of seven Avere present from York , and a very pleasant day was experienced . By tho courtesy of Sir Knight W . White , of the Sheffield Conclave , the visitors spent a very interesting couple of hours before the time
