Upon the removal ot the cloth , the usual loyal toasts received full justice , Bro . R . Shaw responding on behalf of " The Grand Officers . " "The Health of the W . M . " was g iven in eloquent terms by the I . P . M . The W . M . having replied , gave " The Advancees . " In the course of his remarks , he said that he felt confident that the candidates must , have highly appreciated the
manner in which they had been advanced that evening by the I . P . M . T wo of them were personal friends of Bro . Beard , and , ' consequently he ( the W . M . ) had given way in order that the work should be performed by the I . P . M . Bros . Warrington , Burt , and Southern , in their respective replies , expressed themselves as being delighted with the Mark Degree , and regretted that they had not taken it earlier in their Masonic career .
The toast of " The Past Masters " followed , and was coupled with the names of Bros . E . W . Beard and Skinner . The VV . M . again spoke in terms of high commendation of the services of the I . P . M . With regard to Bro . Skinner , the W . M . said that , as one of the oldest advancees of the lodge , it was always a pleasure to see him among them . He possessed a happy , genial temperament , and had the interests of the lodge thoroughly at heart .
Bro . Beard , in reply , expressed his acknowledgments for the kind remarks made by the W . M . He said that the meetings of No . 211 were always red-letter days to him . It had been his good fortune to introduce some personal friends of his to the lodge , and he was in hopes of bringing others . Bro . Skinner also said a few words in reply . Bro . J . N . Frye responded on behalf of " The Treasurer and Secretary , " and Bros . Richards and Hardinge for "The Officers . "
During the evening an excellent musical entertainment was provided by the Savoy Entertainers , under the management of Bro . Goddard , P . M . Bro . Strutt also contributed an effective baritone selection . The proceedings then terminated .

He had every reason to believe that thc affiirs of the Prince Leopold Lodge would prosper during the W . M . ' s tenure of office . The W . M ., having briefly replied , gave the toast of " The Advancees . "
Bros . Sherrin and Pewtress having responded , " The Health of the Past Masters , " followed , coupled with the name of Bro . T . B . Djdson , who made a humorous reply . The toast of " The Officers " gave Bros . Bond and Hawkins an opportunity of saying some very complimentary things about the lodge and its members . During the evening Bros . Dodson , Bond , Hawkins , Lardner , and Professor Driver contributed various selections in verse and prose .
THE Q UEEN will visit Aldershot on Monday , the 26 th inst ., and review the troops on Laffan ' s Plain Parade Ground . The spectacle will be a brilliant one . In consequence of this arrangement the ist Infantry Brigade will do their training before the 26 th , so as to be in Aldershot on the day of the visit , and the ist Cavalry brigade , who were to so to Salisbury Plain on the 19 th , will not go until after her Majesty ' s visit . The ist Royal Dragoons , the ioth Hussars , and some of the Household troops will , on the way to Salisbury , be brought to Aldershot to march past . About 14 , 000 soldiers will be on parade under Sir Redvers Buller , V . C .

M ., in response , stated that although he could not hope to equil the working of many who had filled the chair before him , yet he intended to do his best . He had for many years looked forward to occupy the chair in the Grand Master's Council , and now that his ambition had been satisfied he hoped during his year to be enabled to admit eligible candidates for the Degrees .
Comp . Capt . E . Money responded on behalf of " The Visitors " in a neat and pertinent speech . In giving "The Past T . L Masters , " the T . I . M . congratulated Comp . George Graveley on submitting so satislactory a balance sheet . He also spoke of other P . T . I . Ms ., notably , Baron de Ferrieres , R . L . Loveland , R . B . Bryant , and H . J . Lardner , whose services to the Cryptic Rite in general , and to the Grand Master ' s Council in particular , could not be too highly praised . Comp . G . Graveley having replied in a few well-chosen sentences , The toast of "The Officers , " coupled with the name of Comp . Basil Stewart , brought the proceedings to a close .

BRO . ROBERT GOUGH , P . M ., P . Z . We regret to announce the death of Bro . Robert Gough , which occurred at his residence , io , Dowry-parade , Hotwells , Bristol , on Sunday evening last . The deceased brother , who was about 53 years of age , was taken suddenly ill on Saturday night . Dr . Eustace was then called in , and on the following day the patient was also attended by Dr . Steele and Dr . Carter . Their services , however ,
proved of no avail , and Bro . Gough passed away in the evening about 8 . 30 . Bro . Gough was one of the churchwardens of Holy Trinity , Hotwells , and for some years he served on the Barton Regis Board of Guardians . He was a Past Master of the Royal Clarence Lodge , No . 68 , and P . Z . of the Royal Clarence Chapter , No . 68 . Bro . Gough joined the Royal Clarence Lodge about 23 years ago .
BRO . ROBERT BURLETON . It is with deep regret we announce the death of Bro . Robert Burleton , of No . 46 , Lilly vile-road , Fulham , and lateof the White House Hotel , Ebury Bridge , Pimlico . He was only ill for a few days , and he passed away , at the age of 52 , on the 29 th ult ., at his residence , to the intense grief of his wife and family , and the sincere regret of his many friends . Our deceased brother was initiated in the Dalhousie Lodge , No . 860 , by the late Bro . Wallington , P . M ., on the nth November , 1875
, and , after serving the several olliees leading to the chair , he was installed W . M . in 18 S 2 . On the death of Bro . Wallington , in -1894 , he was unanimously elected Treasurer , which honour he retained to the great satisfaction ot all the members of that lodge up to the time of his death . Bro . Burleton was a founder and second M . E . Z . of the Dalhousie Chapter , No . 860 , and was elected Treasurer in 1887 , when he vacated the chair . He was also a founder of the Londesborough Lodge , N *> . 1681 , and quickly became W . M . On the retirement of Bro . Barfield ,
P . M ., he was elected Treasurer , which office he retained until his death . He was for several years a Mark Mason , and only as recently as the iSth ultimo was installed Worshipful Master of the Leopold Lodge , and he was a Life Governor of the three Masonic Institutions . Our brother was one of the best of fellows , a true friend , a splendid Mason , and most genial . Poor Bro . Rob Burleton was known to us personally for many years , and we tender our respectful sympathy to his bereaved widow and family and to the members of his several lodges , who
have sustained a great ' oss , but his memory cannot but be ever green to them . The funeral took place on the ist instant at Brompton Cemetery . The mourners werc the widow and children of our deceased brother , Miss Weston , Bros . T . B . Dodson , P . M . 860 , Thos . S . Dickie , 1772—executors of the deceased —Mr . Hughie Murray , Mrs . The toast of " The Officers " gave Bros . Bond and Hawkins an opportunity of saying some very complimentary things about the lodge and its members . During the evening Bros . Dodson , Bond , Hawkins , Lardner , and Professor Driver contributed various selections in verse and prose .
THE Q UEEN will visit Aldershot on Monday , the 26 th inst ., and review the troops on Laffan ' s Plain Parade Ground . The spectacle will be a brilliant one . In consequence of this arrangement the ist Infantry Brigade will do their training before the 26 th , so as to be in Aldershot on the day of the visit , and the ist Cavalry brigade , who were to so to Salisbury Plain on the 19 th , will not go until after her Majesty ' s visit . The ist Royal Dragoons , the ioth Hussars , and some of the Household troops will , on the way to Salisbury , be brought to Aldershot to march past . About 14 , 000 soldiers will be on parade under Sir Redvers Buller , V . C .

T . I . M . The customary preliminary toasts having received full justice , " The Health of the T . I . M . " was duly proposed and drunk with acclamation . The T . I . M ., in response , stated that although he could not hope to equil the working of many who had filled the chair before him , yet he intended to do his best . He had for many years looked forward to occupy the chair in the Grand Master's Council , and now that his ambition had been satisfied he hoped during his year to be enabled to admit eligible candidates for the Degrees .
Comp . Capt . E . Money responded on behalf of " The Visitors " in a neat and pertinent speech . In giving "The Past T . L Masters , " the T . I . M . congratulated Comp . George Graveley on submitting so satislactory a balance sheet . He also spoke of other P . T . I . Ms ., notably , Baron de Ferrieres , R . L . Loveland , R . B . Bryant , and H . J . Lardner , whose services to the Cryptic Rite in general , and to the Grand Master ' s Council in particular , could not be too highly praised . Comp . G . Graveley having replied in a few well-chosen sentences , The toast of "The Officers , " coupled with the name of Comp . Basil Stewart , brought the proceedings to a close .

BRO . ROBERT GOUGH , P . M ., P . Z . We regret to announce the death of Bro . Robert Gough , which occurred at his residence , io , Dowry-parade , Hotwells , Bristol , on Sunday evening last . The deceased brother , who was about 53 years of age , was taken suddenly ill on Saturday night . Dr . Eustace was then called in , and on the following day the patient was also attended by Dr . Steele and Dr . Carter . Their services , however ,
proved of no avail , and Bro . Gough passed away in the evening about 8 . 30 . Bro . Gough was one of the churchwardens of Holy Trinity , Hotwells , and for some years he served on the Barton Regis Board of Guardians . He was a Past Master of the Royal Clarence Lodge , No . 68 , and P . Z . of the Royal Clarence Chapter , No . 68 . Bro . Gough joined the Royal Clarence Lodge about 23 years ago .
BRO . ROBERT BURLETON . It is with deep regret we announce the death of Bro . Robert Burleton , of No . 46 , Lilly vile-road , Fulham , and lateof the White House Hotel , Ebury Bridge , Pimlico . He was only ill for a few days , and he passed away , at the age of 52 , on the 29 th ult ., at his residence , to the intense grief of his wife and family , and the sincere regret of his many friends . Our deceased brother was initiated in the Dalhousie Lodge , No . 860 , by the late Bro . Wallington , P . M ., on the nth November , 1875
, and , after serving the several olliees leading to the chair , he was installed W . M . in 18 S 2 . On the death of Bro . Wallington , in -1894 , he was unanimously elected Treasurer , which honour he retained to the great satisfaction ot all the members of that lodge up to the time of his death . Bro . Burleton was a founder and second M . E . Z . of the Dalhousie Chapter , No . 860 , and was elected Treasurer in 1887 , when he vacated the chair . He was also a founder of the Londesborough Lodge , N *> . 1681 , and quickly became W . M . On the retirement of Bro . Barfield ,
P . M ., he was elected Treasurer , which office he retained until his death . He was for several years a Mark Mason , and only as recently as the iSth ultimo was installed Worshipful Master of the Leopold Lodge , and he was a Life Governor of the three Masonic Institutions . Our brother was one of the best of fellows , a true friend , a splendid Mason , and most genial . Poor Bro . Rob Burleton was known to us personally for many years , and we tender our respectful sympathy to his bereaved widow and family and to the members of his several lodges , who
have sustained a great ' oss , but his memory cannot but be ever green to them . The funeral took place on the ist instant at Brompton Cemetery .
