necessary . Bro . the Duke of Abercorn , G . its chief supporters many of our most influential Lancashire brethren . On each of the three days , the proceedings were formally opened , the Countess of Lathom , who was accompanied by her son , Lord Skelmersdale , and her daughters , the Ladies Maud and Florence Wilbraham , very graciously , and it is almost needless to add , gracefully charging herself with that function on Wednesday , ana
making a very neat and appropriate speech when doing so . the proceeds of the first day's sale were about £ 400 , and as , on the second and third days the attendance wasvery considerable , we doubt not the sum raised will be very satisfactory . Bro . Lord Lathom was prevented taking so auspicious a part in the bazaar by his Masonic duties in connection with the Prov . G . Lodge of West Lancashire ,

A very pretty and unique window or shop sign made of Lincrusta has recently been sent over to the Inventions Exhibition for use at the Yale Lock stand in the American court . It is as much in advance of anything of the sort yet produced as the " Yale" is ahead in most respects to English locks . Bro . the Lord Mayor , M . P ., presided at a
meeting held in St . James's * Hall , on Saturday evening last , for the purpose of protesting against the exclusion of business employes from the franchise , and promoting an amendment of the Service Clause of the New Reform Bill in their favour . Bro . F . Seager Hunt was among those present . We have to announce that , in consequence of the funeral of Bro . the Earl of Shaftesbury having been

G . Lodge of West Lancashire ,
and Bro . Colonel Stanley , P . G . W ., D . P . G .
