GEAND MASEEHS' LODGE , No . 1 . — -At the meeting of this Lodge on Monday , March 21 , an unusual number of visitors , chiefly consisting of the present and past Grand Officers of the Grand Lodge , xvere assembled to welcome the Bight Hon . the Earl of Zetland , M . EOTAL SOMERSET HOUSE AND INVERNESS LODGE , NO . 4 . —At the meeting of this Lodge , on the 28 th Feb ., a very splendid and costly silver claret-jug was presented to the late AV . M ., Bro . Joseph A . Joseph , by the members of the Loclge , to mark the sense they entertained of his exertions on behalf of the Lodge , and of his conduct as AV . M . during the years 1851—1852 . Bro . Joseph presented to the Lodge an exceedingly elegantly-designed charity-box , intended
to he passed round to receive the contributions of the members at each of their meetings , and in presenting it expressed a hope thafc this Lodge , which has been so long celebrated for its antiquity , ( being one of the two Lodges xvhich are entitled to xvork without a Warrant of Constitution ) , conviviality , and musieial proficiency , would henceforth be as well knoxx'ii for its exertions in the cause of charity . We xvere happy to see so numerous an attendance of memhers of the Lodge , and to hear that through the indefatigable exertions of Bro . Joseph and the Past Masters , the Lodge has
