A CORRECTION . To flu' Editor of THE MASONIC STAR . DEAR SIR AND BROTHER , A companion has kindly pointed out to me that my reply to G . B ., re the time when a Principal Elect of a Royal Arch Chapter can be installed is not quite clear , and that after the words . " can

be installed the moment he is elected . " 1 should have added . '' unless the Bye-Laws of the Chapter shall otherwise provide : " ( See Rule 57 . I 5 k . of R . A . Regulations . ) I did not add these words , as I took it for granted this was understood . lu a Lodge the Minutes of a Master ' s election must bo confirmed at the next regular

meeting , before he can be installed ; but confirmation of the election of a Principal is not required . J 2 I ( i . which was consecrated in April , 18 ( 58 . was the second Lodge to which a Charter was granted in

tion with a volunteer regiment . This is not so . as the Leigh Lodge of Rifle Volunteers , in connection with the Birmingham volunteers , was consecrated in 18 ( il , its number being 807 . Although not one of its founders . I joined it almost immediately after its formation , and was a member for many years . It no longer bears a military character , and is no longer in connection with the volunteers , and is simply called The Leigh Lodge .

the support of each regular Lodge and Chapter and each Lodge ! and Chapter of Instruction by subscription for at least one copy , to be regularly forwarded .

We regret the necessity of again crowding out some interesting communications from esteemed correspondents , which are already in type , but cannot avoid it . The remedy for disappointment in this respect rests entirely with the CRAFT . More subscribers more paper must be our rule of management ,
