TEMPLE LODGE ( NO . 101 ) . —This numerous and influential lodge held the first meeting of the present session on Tuesday , the 5 tli insfc ., in their lodge-room , at the Ship ancl Turtle Tavern , Leadenliall-street . Present : Bros . Joseph Tanner , W . M . ; P . J . Cex , S . W . ; Smithly , J . W . ; Bond , P . M ., Treas . ; J . H . Wynne , P . M ., Sec . ; Youle , S . D . ; Reynolds , J . D . ; Hastelow , Dir . of Cers . ; Prince , I . G . ; and a numbers of P . M . 's , as Bros . S . May , E . Farthing , sen . T . BeardHenry and W . W . Wynne .

, , Amongst the visitors were Bros . Norris , W . M . 21 , P . G . Steward ; T . Wescombe , Prov . G . Sec . Kent ; B . P . Todd , P . M . 27 ; Storr , E . M . 453 , & c . Mr . Marmaduke Lintt was initiated , and the lodge was closed , there being no other business , after which the brethren adjourned to banquet , which was enlivened with some very good songs .

LODGE OF FAITH , NO . 141 . —This lodge held its regular meeting on Wednesday , the 28 th ult ., at Anderton's Hotel , Fleet-street , the WM ., Bro . G . Hyde , in the chair , supported by P . M . ' s Harris , LP . 11 . ; Gottheil , Stewart , Hop wood . Anslow , Hope , & c . The lodge was opened , and the minutes of the former lodge were read and confirmed . Bro . Mouiton was raised to the third degree , and Bro . Davis was passed to the degree of a Fellow Craft . An election then took lace for

THE OLD CONCORD LODGE ( NO . 172 ) . —This lodge met at the Freemasons' Hall , Great Queen-street , on Tuesday , the 5 th inst ., the W . M ., Bro . George King , in the chair , the following business being upon the summons : To ballot for and initiate Mr . James C . ge respectively , when Bro . Hughes was raised to the sublime degree of M . M . Afterwards the lodge was resumed to the first degree , when Mr . J . Willett was initiated in due form , both ceremonies being worked by Bro . King with his known accuracy . After some propositions for joining and for initiations at the next meeting had been received , the lodge was closed . The brethren then adjourned to the banquet , which was to the satisfaction of

every one presen fc . The usual toasts were given and responded to , and Bro . the Rev . J . W . Laughlin , Chap ., addressed the initiate with great eloquence on the principles and . beauties of the Order , and the brethren retired at an early hour , having spent a very agreeable evening . LODGE OE JOPEA ( NO . 188 ) - —This lodge resumed its regular meeting on Mondaythe 4 th inst . at the Albion Tavern ,

, , Aldersgate-street . The W . M . having taken the chair , supported by P . M . 's E . Van Diephenheim . B . W . Aaron , E . P . Albert , L . Alexander , A . M . Levy , Bro . Berkowitz , Chaplain , & c . The minutes of the former lodge being read and confirmed , Bro . Payne was passed to the second degree , and Bros . Samuel Levy and Hartog , were raised to the sublime degree of Master Masons . The lodge was . then closed , and the brethren about sixty in

number , adjourned to a very excellent banquet . After the usual toasts , loyal and Masonic , the W . M . proposed the toast oi the Benevolent Fund attached to this lodge , its objocfc being to assist brethren who have been contributing members for three consecutive years . He was pleased to say that by donations and subscriptions that fund amounted at present to £ 1 , 000 , although large sums had been given to brethren , who , unfortunately , had become reduced in circumstances . Bro . P . Beyfus , P . M ., and President of the Benevolent Fund , returned thanks . He stated he was pleased to see so large an amount connected with that fund , and he hoped that it would be a very long time before

any brother would have to apply to it for relief . Bro . M . Van Diephenheim proposed the " Health ofthe WM ., " who suitably returned thanks . The W . M . then rose and said , the next toast was one the Lodge of Joppa was proud of—namely , its reception of visitors . He regretted there were not more present , but , if deficient in quantity it was made up in quality , and he honed the brethren would drink that toast in a manner that would show to those brethrenalthough holding so high a

posi-, tion in the Provincial Grand Lodge , they were pleased with the reception they had met with , as it was meant in the spirit of true Masonry . Bro . Hill , stated he felt flattered by the remarks ofthe W . M ., and he thanked him for his hospitality , and he was proud to inform the brethren that the W . M . was one of his pupils . ge , confirmed , and at 5 . 40 p . m . Bros . Taylor and Haynes , after the usual ceremonies bad been gone through , were raised to the sublime degree of M . M . Bro . Arkol and Younger were then presented , and , after the usual preliminaries , wore passed to the degree of P . O . Tlie lodge having been resumed in the first degree , a letter was road by the W . M . from the widow of the late Bro . Holland , unon which Bro . Hosgood proposed and Bro .

E . Roberts seconded that the W . M . should visit the case and report thereon , which was carried unanimously . A letter was then read from the widow of the late Bro . Allatson , who had been a subscribing member to this lodge for 18 years , thanking Bro . C . Hosgood for the kind memoir of her late husband ( in the FREEMASONS' MAGAZINE of the 25 th ult . ) , and such letter was ordered to be entered on the minutes . The lodge was closed in due form , and the brethren adjourned to an excellent dinner , provided by the manager of the Cannon-street Hotel .
