NEW CHAPTER AT ALDERSHOT .
TUESDAY was an important day , Masonically , for Aldershot . In the afternoon a new Chapter , named the Connaught , and numbered 1971 , was Consecrated at the Officers' Club House . The ceremony was attended by the Provincial Grand Superintendent Comp . W . W . B . Beach , M . P ., with whom were the Principals and Officers of the Provincial Grand Chapter .
After the consecration the Prov . Grand Superintendent installed the following Principals : —Comps . Colonel John Davis A . D . C . P . Z . as Z . . . Captain M . L . Hughes P . Z . asH ., and Captain E . S . Heard P . Z . as J . Afterwards came the investiture of Officers , and some twelve propositions for joining members . Then the Chapter was closed .
