The Lodge was opened in the third degree , and a board of Installed Masters was formed , consisting of Bros . Buss Assistant Grand Secretary , W . E . Compertz P . M . Gresham 869 , W . R . Marsh P . Ridley for his having so successfully represented the Lodge at the recent Festival of the Boys' School ;
this being seconded , was passed and briefly acknowledged . Four propositions for initiation , and ono for joining were handed in , after which the Lodge was closed . The brethren adjourned to the banquet room , and partook of a well propided repast , which was served in a way reflecting great credit on the officials of the Club . health of the W . M . of tho Lodge ; he is a most excellent Mason , and a good Master . In his absence they were presided over by his son , who was , if he might say it , in every respect his equal . This toast having met with a hearty response , was briefly acknowledged . The W . M . regretting that the absence of his father had brought him into such prominence . He now gave the Initiates . All Lodges ,
especially new oues , want new blood , this evening they had thrco new members ; he was pleased to givo them a hearty welcome , and although not strong in number , he felt sure they would prove strong in quality . Ridley for his having so successfully represented the Lodge at the recent Festival of the Boys' School ;
this being seconded , was passed and briefly acknowledged . Four propositions for initiation , and ono for joining were handed in , after which the Lodge was closed . The brethren adjourned to the banquet room , and partook of a well propided repast , which was served in a way reflecting great credit on the officials of the Club . health of the W . M . of tho Lodge ; he is a most excellent Mason , and a good Master . In his absence they were presided over by his son , who was , if he might say it , in every respect his equal . especially new oues , want new blood , this evening they had thrco new members ; he was pleased to givo them a hearty welcome , and although not strong in number , he felt sure they would prove strong in quality .
