DEAR SIR AND BROTHER , —• ON looking OA'er some back numbers of the Freemasons' Quarterly Magazine and Review , I find two letters on the Valley of Jehoshaphat , one from Past Master Stephen Barton Wilson , the other from Bro . De She Philipe , P . G . S . B . There is no doubt whatever as to the
correctness of the statements of Bro . Philipe , that Joshua's great battle , Avhen tie sun and moon stood still , could not have been in the Valley of Jehoshaphat ; for we are told iu the book of Joshua that it AA'as in "the going down to Beth-Horon , " that is to sa }* between Gilgal and Beth-Horon , ancl therefore some miles to the north of the Valley of Jehoshaphat , Avhich is close to Jerusalem , on the north and east sides of that city .
