A hiatus has occurred in connection with the relations of this Lodgo and the Grand Master of all Scottish Freemasonry in India , that may lead to direful results if the counsels of the wise do not prevail , and terminate amicably a misunderstanding which should never have arisen , and which it is to be hoped , for the honour of the M . W . Provincial Grand Master , and the wisdom of the

young , promising , and highly competent Right Worshipful Master , may promptly be adjusted without lowering the dignity of either the Grand or Craft Lodge . But , in common parlance , things look ominous , and , if the discriminating judgment of wise counsellors do not prevail , then ifc is to be feared a schism in Scottish Freemasonry will occur , which will , nolens nolens , sever a branch from the parent
